No matter how skilled we are at applying process improvement methodologies, there are not enough hours in a day for us to solve all problems or capture all of the improvement opportunities in our organizations. It is only by “paying it forward” and equipping front line leaders with the ability to solve their own problems that we will truly make our mark. Bob will share how he’s worked with one such leader using the “as we do we teach” approach which he’s expanded to a formal system program that is beginning to change the culture at Aurora Health Care.
