Executive Committee Meeting Minutes

Present: John Hankwitz, Arnot Heron, Warren Hojnacki, John Miller, John Montague, Phil Reger, Allen Rothman, Phil Schmidt, Tom Schmidt, Julie Shuster, Erica Swain, Larry VanHoveln, Chuck Wasserman, Wilson Wright, Mike Woods, Loreto Datu, Rossi Wittlinger, Renee Polizzi.

Meeting Started: 5:30 pm

Motion to approve minutes made by John Montague, seconded by Loreto Datu, carried by voice vote.

CHAIR ITEMS

1. Organizational chart is up to date.

2. Calendar is up to date.

3. Business Plan is up to date.

4. If D. Zdroik is not here, A. Rothman will prepare and participate in the 7/23/08 financial audit.

5. Recognition Awards at Section Meeting in September. List to Phil Reger.

6. New Quality Management Process Manual (QMP) replaces SMP.

Guests

1. CVENT presentation at 6:00 PM. Nancy Huang gave a Webex touting the benefits and costs associated with CVENT services. Nick Leifeld to do a cost/benefit analysis and present it to the Executive Committee.

2. Loreta Datu was introduced as the person for the Advanced Programs position for the next fiscal year.

Getting restaurants lined up for coming year. Proposed buffets instead of sit down meals.

Arnot Heron

Sept., Oct., and Nov. meetings now set for a different night. Rest of 2009 Plant Tours are the same night as dinner meeting, my want to have them on a different night.
